Enjoy dinner before retiring for the evening.
Day 3 - 8: Medjugorje
Medjugorje
You are here. You said yes. Now experience all that awaits you in beautiful Medjugorje. Simple and peaceful. While here you will have the opportunity to deepen your faith and share and grow your experiences with your fellow pilgrims from around the world. Our local guide Miki will be with us through our stay here in the village and he arranges our itinerary day by day depending on the schedule and weather.
Attend Daily Mass: Mass in English is 10am in St James. Please respect the 9am
German Mass by not entering the church until they have exited.
Climb Apparition Hill: This is where the first apparition of Our Blessed Mother took
place, a bare and rocky hill overlooking Bijakovici, the village where the young
visionaries lived. In the early years, the top of the hill could be reached by a
narrow, almost impassible path, crossed only by shepherds and their sheep. But
thanks to the millions of pilgrims who’ve ascended it, today it is wider and easier to
climb. At the top of the hill, a statue of Our Lady marks the location of her first
apparition. Enjoy private time for prayer in this holy place.
Apparitions: Each evening at 6pm we will join the villagers and fellow pilgrims of
Medjugorje in saying the Holy Rosary, as a await the arrival of Our Lady to three of
the visionaries at 6:40pm. Afterwards is Croatian Mass, followed by the blessing of
religious articles.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Our Lady has always called us to draw close
to her Son. Pilgrims will have the opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament of
the altar either at the chapel, or during the evening program on Thursdays and
Saturdays. Eucharistic Adoration is one of the most memorable experiences in
Medjugorje. God’s grace is so tangible, one feels as though they can reach out and
touch the Holy Spirit.
Meetings with a Visionary: Mirjana Soldo, one of the six visionaries who saw the Virgin Mary in 1981 will be your hostess
during the pilgrimage. You’ll get the chance to meet her, hear her testimony and ask questions about her experience. We will
also take a group picture with her. Mirjana fills every pilgrimage with holiness, wisdom and joy.
Visit the Community of Cenacolo: Pilgrims will have the opportunity to visit the Community of Cenacolo, founded by Sr. Elvira
Petrozzi, for men and women who have taken the wrong path and are on the road to recovery. You will listen to inspirational
testimonies about their journeys back to Jesus Christ.
Zadar, Croatia – the Church of St Simeon: St Simeon of the Presentation of Our Lord is buried in this church. We will
celebrate Mass here. Afterwards, we will have some free time to walk around this ancient walled city on the Adriatic Sea. We
will have lunch together before heading back to Medjugorje.
Divine Mercy Church: In Surmanci, this church houses an icon of Divine Mercy, responsible for the miraculous healing of a
man who had multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, and spinal deformities. The church also houses a 1at class relic
of St Faustina and a 2nd class relic of Pope Saint John Paul II.
Day 9: Medjugorje - Home
Medjugorje – Home
On June 25, 1981, in the mountain village of Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Our Lady appeared to six children. She identified herself as the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace and continues to appear to several of the visionaries today. Her mission is to promote peace with God and mankind through her Son, Jesus. Mary’s own words to the children explained, “I have come to tell the world that God exists.”

What's Included
Meet a Visionary in Medjugorje
The town of Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina holds deep spiritual and religious significance. In 1981, the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared to six local children. Fiat Voluntas Tua is a tour company that organizes Catholic pilgrimages to Medjugorje (and other locations in the region). Mirjana Soldo, one of our visionaries, is the hostess of each pilgrimage.
Our president and director, Grace Legaspi, visited Medjugorje for two days, and the experience changed her life. After that initial visit, she returned nine more times over the next five years and eventually was given the tour company by its original founder, Lynn Hoffman. Now, she is committed to sharing this incredible Medjugorje experience with other people of faith.
